    DOCK ETIQUETTE
We're glad the dock is so popular but... Check it out before you begin to carry your boats. Please, look over the edge and see if the dock is jammed with people before you commit to bringing down your boat. Try to be equitable. If you are stacking oars on the dock, do so neatly and in an area unlikely to see a lot of traffic. Don't stack blades on the dock unless you are planning on launching soon. Please make sure to remove all equipment as soon as possible.
When you launch and land please move your boat to one extreme of the dock or the other. We can fit two long boats on one side, so don't park your boat in the middle of the dock; regardless of long you think you might be there.
Try to limit you time launching and landing. Please refrain from using the dock for instruction or team bonding/chats which do not require boats in the water. In general, please make an effort to go as fast as is reasonable. It makes a difference when you show you are trying.
The dock can be very steep, please allow those carrying equipment to have the right of way.
Finally, remember that there is no local municipality taking care of the dock. It is ours to enjoy and respect. Thank you for volunteering, please see your coach or other organization official to help in dock maintenance.
